• Hi, I am Alyssa.

At my core, I am a storyteller.

Whether through animation, UI, or front-end code, I craft digital experiences that communicate. Blending development precision with design intuition, I turn ideas into meaningful visual narratives.

With an MFA from SCAD and dual bachelor’s degrees in Graphic Design and Computer Science, I bring both technical fluency and artistic vision. I currently work as a front-end developer at Signet Jewelers, optimizing e-commerce platforms like KAY, Jared, and Zales. I also teach design at Liberty University, where I mentor the next generation of creatives.

    How I Work

    • I understand systems and aesthetics.
    • Code is my tool, not my identity.
    • I speak developer and designer fluently.
    • I make digital experiences feel right—not just function.
    • My instinct is rooted in storytelling and visual connection.

No matter the medium—motion, layout, or interactive experience—my goal is always the same: Tell the story well.

  • Animation

I’ve always had a passion for animation, particularly hand-drawn 2D storytelling. During my MFA at SCAD and the production of my thesis film, I explored both 2D and 3D animation, working with tools like Toon Boom Harmony, Autodesk Maya, and Adobe After Effects. While I consider myself a multidisciplinary creative rather than a dedicated animator, I’m continually honing my skills to bring stories to life through motion.
